The hygienic aspects of the use of light-emitting diode (LED) light sources in industrial lighting systems at industrial enterprises in Ukraine are considered. The prospects for LED lighting in various countries and government support for the development of energy-saving lighting are shown. An assessment of the effectiveness of LED lighting is given and a comparative analysis of the parameters and characteristics of incandescent lamps, compact fluorescent and LED lamps is given. Powerful white LEDs and methods for producing white light are analyzed. The lighting, physical and hygienic advantages and disadvantages of LED industrial lighting systems are analyzed. New approaches to standardization of LED systems and light environment at industrial enterprises of Ukraine are evaluated.
